According to employee survey results, people are often positive about working with their immediate team, but typically, little thought is given to identifying the most effective ways of working together or how personality styles impact those relationships.
Team profiling and personality psychometrics, such as the Dimensions tool, are incredibly useful for encouraging in-depth reflection on working relationships.
They enable teams to explore their strengths and capability gaps against the goals they are striving to achieve and identify ways of working to enhance performance. It’s no good if team members are in constant conflict, but equally, teams that are too friendly and supportive may not perform as well as they could. These workshops provide a constructive method for improving team working.
